More About Castillo Medium Roast
Origin & Terroir
Origin & Terroir
This single-origin Castillo coffee is grown in the highlands of Pital, Huila, Colombia, at approximately 1,720 meters above sea level on Farm La Floresta — an altitude known for producing balanced, expressive coffees.
High elevation, volcanic soils, and a mild climate allow the coffee cherries to mature slowly, developing greater sweetness and complexity in the cup.
The Farmers Behind the Coffee
The Farmers Behind the Coffee
This coffee is grown by Eleonor and Gerardo Rodríguez, small-scale coffee farmers deeply connected to their land and traditions. Each harvest reflects generations of knowledge, dedication, and care passed down through their family.
From careful cultivation to selective harvesting, their work ensures quality and consistency in every lot.
In the Cup
In the Cup
Carefully sourced and processed in Huila, this medium roast highlights comforting notes of chocolate, panela sweetness, cinnamon, and bright orange.
From the Rodríguez family’s farm to your cup, this coffee captures the true character of its origin — and the people who make it possible.
The coffee didn’t taste like medium roasted beans. It leaves lingering bitter acidity taste.
This coffee makes me feel always happy and proactive… Cielito is full of so much more than just a simple coffee in the morning, is a warm feeling in my heart 💜 thank you
